A crewmate is an iconic Among Us character. These short armless multicolored spacemen are used to identify the player in the game.
There have been countless attempts to include their likeness in Minecraft to varying degrees of success. Let’s go over just several more appealing styles.
The Red
This one is just that – a red crewmate. Technically, it’s a white painted basic skin with a texture of a stationary spaceman on the front. It’s actually a relative success because the texture has been introduced virtually without change – there aren’t many pixels on both textures.
Surely, it’s more of a joke material. If you seriously want an Among Us skin, there are better options.
The basic spacesuit
Naturally, some people decided to create skins that would look like an iconic spacesuit right away. Several attempts were made (and still are being made), but this one is probably the best of the bunch.
There are sadly no other colors except for pink, but the detail compensates for the lack of variety. The creator thought of everything: the shading, small details, and dimension.
Spider-Man meets Among Us
When the latest Spider-Man: Miles Morales (June 2020) came out, Among Us has already been growing in popularity. Naturally, some enthusiasts acted.
There are tons of such skins online, but what makes this one stand out is its love for detail. A large chunk of elements is a ‘cloak’ – the overlaying particles that allow creators to increase the dimension and detail.
Cosmos skin
The creators of this skin decided to compensate for the lack of detail with a unique and attractive texture which represents cosmos in its dark cold shades of purple and pink as well as the specks of white and black. Overall, it’s a very appealing candidate.
Diamond skin
Naturally, there is a skin that makes you look like a bunch of distorted diamond blocks with a visor on the head. Despite its simplicity, it’s a very creative and fun skin. There’s not much else to tell, really.
An Astronaut
After the Among Us boom, you could find a lot of astronaut-themed content in the Minecraft community. This is one of them – a highly detailed replica of an astronaut suit from real life (as close to it as even possible).
